Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 20, 2026

Introduction

Datamata Studios operates a technical website providing free utilities and blog content. This privacy policy explains what information we collect and how we handle it. We aim for radical transparency and minimal data collection.

For a shorter overview of browser versus server processing, AI features and payments, see the Trust centre.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to operate the site and paid features.

  • Account data: if you create an account, we process your authentication details through Supabase
  • Billing data: if you purchase products or subscriptions, payments are processed by Stripe and we receive limited billing metadata
  • Contact data: if you submit contact or bug report forms, we process the information you provide so we can respond
  • Technical logs: hosting and security infrastructure may process IP address, user agent and request metadata for reliability and abuse prevention
  • Advertising data: on pages that show ads, Google and its partners may set cookies and process device or usage identifiers to serve and measure ads — see Advertising and Cookies below

If you start a free trial, we may process trial status and trial end dates to provide access control, billing reminders and account management features.

Many browser tools process input locally where possible. Some account or server-backed features process data on our infrastructure to deliver results.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some privacy laws — for example in California — treat the use of advertising cookies as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out as described in the Advertising and Cookies section below.

Job Market Data and Automated Content

We collect public job listing information from company career pages and ATS sources to build aggregated market insights. This data is used to power the dashboard and automated blog content.

Our posts can include automatically generated narrative summaries. These summaries are informational and may contain estimation error. We do not use this content to make decisions about individual people.

How Information Is Used

We use the limited information we process to operate the site, deliver paid features and respond to your requests. Technical logs generated by our hosting provider are used to operate, secure and maintain the website infrastructure. On pages that show ads, advertising cookies may be used as described in the Advertising and Cookies section below.

Third-Party Services

We rely on third-party providers including hosting infrastructure, Supabase for authentication and data storage and Stripe for payments. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and compliance controls.

We may use anti-abuse and operational monitoring systems to protect service availability and detect misuse.

Advertising and Cookies

Some pages on this site show ads served by Google AdSense. To deliver and measure those ads, Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and other sites on the internet.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of other vendors at aboutads.info.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before non-essential advertising cookies are set, using a Google-certified consent management platform. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time through the privacy options shown on the site.

We do not control the information Google collects for ad personalisation. For details, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Data Retention

We retain account, billing and support records only as long as needed to provide services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and meet legal obligations.

International Data Transfers

We use service providers that may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards and contractual protections those providers offer.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal data we hold. Contact us to submit a privacy request.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. If we make significant changes that affect how we handle data, we will note this clearly at the top of the policy.
